Cross-country skiing with many variants
In the sourroundings of the Gletscher Apartments you have different possibilites for cross-country skiing: in Flattach there is a trail to Stall and Obervellach, another trail is at the ski area of the Mölltaler Gletscher and in Mallnitz there is a cross-country skiarea with 25 km trails.
Cross-country ski trail in Flattach
Thee cross-country ski trail reaches to Gratschach (Obervellach) in the east and to the Gössnitzsee (Stall) in the west. In total the trail has a length of 20 km. Beside the trail for classic style there is also a trail for skating style piecewise.
Mountain trail at Mölltaler Gletscher
At the Mölltaler Gletscher there is a mountain trail at 2200m above the sea. The round-trail has a length of 2,5 km. To get to the trail you need a ticket.
Cross-country ski trail in Mallnitz
In the village Mallnitz there is a wonderful cross-country ski area with different trails. In total the trails have a length of 25 km. The area is snowsure. It takes you 25 km from the Gletscher Apartments to get there.
